HMRC compliance · safeguards in force
Why care delivered through Netvett is HMRC-safe
Every safeguard below is a product behaviour, not just contract language. HMRC judges practice, not paper.
Substitution right
In forcePro-ID workers can offer their shift to another verified Pro-ID
Workers who have accepted a shift can nominate another verified Pro-ID professional of equivalent qualification as their substitute. The substitute’s Pro-ID is accepted by the system — not by Netvett, not by the agency — and the commissioner is notified automatically. Sentinel liveness binds the substitute at check-in.
Tools, not instructions
In forceSentinel tools are professional protection — never instructions
Geo-fenced check-in, audio care logs, and kin tracker are optional safeguards offered to Pro-ID workers. Netvett does not direct how care is delivered; the worker exercises their own professional judgment. We never review log content and issue instructions back, and our tools never penalise a worker for declining to use any specific feature.
No mutuality of obligation
In forceNo guaranteed work · no obligation to accept
Netvett has no obligation to provide work to any Pro-ID worker and workers have no obligation to accept any shift offered or available. There are no minimum-hours guarantees, no quotas, and no penalty for declining shifts. Every shift surface is framed as an open marketplace listing.
Multi-client independence
In forcePro-ID dossier shows work across multiple organisations
Workers can record and display every commissioning organisation, agency, NHS bank, or direct-payment household they engage with. HMRC explicitly cites "several customers at the same time" as a strong indicator of genuine self-employment, and our dossier surfaces it as a feature, not a footnote.
Worker sets their own rate
In forceFair Pay Agreement is a floor — workers negotiate above
The FPA rate is a minimum floor. Workers can counter-offer rates above the floor with the commissioner directly, mirroring HMRC’s self-employment indicator that the worker "charges an agreed fixed price for their work". Listings display the floor, not a take-it-or-leave-it rate.
